DT Diorama project

Year 6 have had a mini project, learning all about the terrible disaster 'Titanic'  Part of the project was to design, annotate and create a 'diorama' to depict the catastrophe.

CODING CHALLENGE FOR DREAM TEAM YEAR 6

The Challenge was to create a multiplication game that included 'variables' 'sounds' and was fun to play.

Year 6 Dream Team Class CLEAPSS challenge

The Dream Team took part in the Cleapss Marble-Keepy-uppy Challenge.
Enteries will be judged on:

• Length of time the rolling marble takes to reach the ground
• Elegance and innovation of the design 
• Compactness of the structure.

Ms Broxup's class - Maths ( Magic potions)

In year 3 we have been learning about how to measure, compare, add and subtract capacity. We made our own invisibility and flying potions.

Electricity in Year 4

In Science we have been learning about circuits. Today we tested materials to see whether they were conductors or insulators.

Today in year 4 we held a mock General Election. The class was spilt into 5 groups to represent each of the major political parties. Each group looked at their party's manifesto, selected the parts that were important to them and presented these to the rest of the class. The children then completed their ballot papers and voted by putting them onto the ballot box. There was a very tense wait as the votes were then counted and verified. The winners by a very small margin were the Green party led by Elsie.
